In conjuction with Defenders of Wildlife,

Back From the Brink: Endangered Species around the world.

Animals around the world are on the brink of extinction. But this is not a show about death and despair. It is about life and hope and triumph. Thanks to important legislation like the Endangered Species Act many creatures have come back from the edge. Now the Endangered Species Act is under attack and we all must do our part to make sure this important safeguard remains intact! Join the Defenders of Wildlife and Creature Gallery as we raise awareness about this important issue.

For more info about what is happening to the E.S.A. visit SaveESA.org.

Open from 6 PM to 11 PM. Free food and drink and a special talk by a Defenders of Wildlife representative at 7PM.

Love and Sex in the Animal Kingdom (but mostly sex)

Just in time for Valentine's Day, this show is dedicated to love and sex in the animal kingdom. Images will range from cute cuddling animals, to mating lions, to the primate with an abnormally long clitoris. (Think you know which one it is? You'll have to attend the show to find out).

Open from 6 PM to 11 PM. Free food and drink and a cozy atmosphere around the fire. Happy Valentine's Day!

December 2nd 2005, Gallery Opening:

Polar Opposites. Featuring the Icons of Ice, Polar Bears and Penguins.

One resides in the northern arctic, the other entirely in the southern hemisphere. They would never encounter each other in the wild but they appeared side by side at this opening at Creature Gallery. Wow. What a turnout. We had a packed house all night, We went through 26 bottles of wine, a keg of beer, some egg nog and many good eats. I even sold a bunch of prints! Thanks to all who attended and bought something or donated to the cause. $100 from the event was donated to the World Wildlife Fund Polar Bear Adoption Program. Don't forget you can now buy images from the opening online.

The Grand Pre-Opening HALLOWEEN PARTY!

October 29, 2005.

The Halloween party was a monstrous success. This was the first public event at Creature Gallery. Nearly a hundred guys and ghouls came out to enjoy the creepy photography and good eats (prepared most generously by Kat Morgan. Thank you!) People traveled from as far as Ohio to attend this ground breaking event. A framed print was given away to the winner of the best costume (Cory Muth as horse and cowboy) and a jolly fun time was had by all. Thanks so much to all who attended and all who contributed and purchased prints. 10% of the proceeds from the evening went to the Virginia Chapter of The Nature Conservancy.
