I flew to South Africa for a five week photo trip and discovered upon landing that all my camera gear had been stolen out of my luggage while in airline custody. (boycott Virgin Airlines!)
All I had left was a tiny video camera in my carry-on bag. I spent the next week goofing off in Kruger National Park and making silly videos like this to entertain myself.
This was one of several really scary moments I had in Kruger. Elephants have been known to tip vehicles over, especially when they're all revved up on testosterone during the rut. This big bull was definitely on the juice.
You can't quite tell from the video but he got darn close to my car. Good times.
